Put Your Brand Behind a Mission That Matters

Sponsor our signature events in our 40th year.

The Waldorf School of Atlanta turns forty this year. Two gatherings anchor the school year: the Holiday Fair in November and the Annual Auction and Gala in April, both anniversary celebrations, both expected to draw bigger crowds than usual as alumni families come back. Sponsoring either one puts your business in front of a community that talks about the places it trusts. Every contribution supports tuition assistance, faculty development, and campus improvements.

Sponsorships are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The Waldorf School of Atlanta is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, federal tax ID 58-1741907. Holiday Fair sponsorships include no goods or services in return, so they are fully deductible to the extent allowed by law. Gala sponsorships at Gold and above include complimentary tickets: your receipt will state both your total contribution and the fair market value of those tickets. You may decline the tickets in writing to make your full contribution deductible.

What Does Sponsorship Look Like?

Since 1986 this school has grown up alongside Decatur, and today roughly 170 families, plus four decades of alumni families still rooted here, make WSA one of the most tight-knit school communities in metro Atlanta. When our families find a business they trust, they talk about it, they return to it, and they bring their friends. Sponsorship is how your business gets introduced. Every benefit here is built to be visible, durable, and simple: signage that stays up all event, program ads that circulate all evening, and recognition that carries across the whole community. We keep the logistics light on both sides.

Sponsorship Opportunities

  • The Holiday Fair

November 7, 2026. Our biggest outward-facing community event: handmade crafts, seasonal treats, children's activities, live music, and the beloved Enchantment Shop and Puppet Show, drawing hundreds of Decatur families. No entrance fee, warm and high-traffic, exactly when local businesses want to be top of mind. Sponsorships run from $100 to $1,000 and above, in cash or in-kind.

  • The Annual Auction and Gala

April 17, 2027. The social event of the WSA year: live and silent auctions, class art projects, entertainment, and gourmet food for 200+ parents, alumni families, and friends of the school, with mobile bidding extending the silent auction well beyond the room. Four tiers from $500 to $5,000, with program ads, signage, and on-stage recognition at the top.

  • In-Kind and A La Carte

Flowers for the welcome tables, gift cards for Fair prizes, coffee for the Bake Shop, an auction item or experience valued at $50 or more, or professional services like printing, catering, decor, or photography. In-kind gifts are credited at the tier matching their fair market value. No item is too small.

FAQs

Your brand. Their future.

We know your marketing dollars have to work hard. That is why every benefit here is designed to be set once and stay visible: a banner that is up all day, a program ad that circulates all evening, a logo on the bidding portal that 200 guests scroll past. We are a very small team, so we keep partnerships simple, personal, and worth your while. Choose your event and tier, send one logo file, and we take it from there.

Other Ways to Give

  • Annual Fund

The school's operating support, raised fresh every year. It is the most flexible gift you can make and the one we build the budget around. Our goal this year is $115,000.

  • GOAL Scholarships

Redirect a portion of the income tax you already owe to fund tuition assistance at WSA, and receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit. Applying takes two minutes, and no payment is due when you apply. The window closes December 31.

  • Auction & Gala

One evening each spring, our community gathers for dinner, dancing, and an auction of extraordinary things, and the whole night funds the school. Buy a ticket and bid, sponsor the evening, or donate something to the silent auction.

  • Matching Gifts

Many employers match charitable gifts. Ask your HR department whether yours is one of them, and let us know if it is so we can thank you for both.

  • Stock, Retirement, IRAs

A gift of appreciated securities can carry meaningful tax advantages compared with selling first and giving the proceeds. Contact us before you initiate a transfer so we can watch for your gift and thank you promptly.

  • Wills & Bequests

Some families choose to make WSA part of their legacy through a bequest, a trust, or an endowment gift: the gift of this education for children they may never meet. We would be honored to talk it through with you and your advisor.

  • Sponsorship

Sponsor the Holiday Fair in November or the Annual Auction and Gala in April, in cash or in-kind. Four simple levels at each event, with recognition that stays visible on our website.

  • In-Kind Donations

Auction items and experiences valued at $50 or more, gift cards, flowers for the Fair, or professional services like printing, catering, or photography.

  • Evergreen Partners

Georgia businesses that participate in GOAL on behalf of WSA are recognized as Evergreen Partners, with priority placement in our Business Directory.
