Kelly Pins

Early Childhood Teacher
At WSA since 2008

Born in upstate New York, Kelly Pins grew up as a snowbird between her family's horse farm in the Catskill Mountains and winters in Pompano Beach, Florida, an upbringing that gave her a lifelong appreciation of nature and all its wonders. She earned a B.A. in communications from Rollins College and ran a black and white portrait photography business before her two boys enrolled at WSA. She began by volunteering, then substituting across the early childhood classrooms, and went on to study for her M.Ed. in Waldorf education at Antioch University. Kelly still loves catching frogs, foraging for wild mushrooms, and snorkeling in warm reef waters.
