Francisco Moreno

Movement & Games and Woodworking Teacher

Francisco Moreno was born in Colombia and grew up in New York City, where he studied at the High School of Art and Design before continuing at the Columbus College of Art and Design and the Atlanta College of Art. One of WSA's founding parents, he became the school's first woodworking teacher and joined the faculty full time in 2000. He completed the Spatial Dynamics program at Sunbridge College. His youngest son was a member of WSA's first graduating class, and Francisco has shared his love of nature and survival skills with Scouts for more than a decade.
