has been teaching in the WSA handwork department since 2009. Before this time, Morning Garden brought her and her two toddler boys to the Waldorf School. As her children moved through the beauty of the kindergartens at Waldorf and transitioned to the grades, Carol also transitioned from volunteering to working at WSA. Carol has been an avid handworker since early on, from the age of five, when her beloved grandmother taught her to knit, crochet and sew. Since that time, she has never stopped learning new skills and making as many projects as possible!
Before coming to WSA, Carol taught art and regular education to children in metro area public schools for 11 years. Carol attended the University of Georgia earning degrees in fine art, art education, regular education and she also holds a Masters degree in Educational Psychology. Carol is a Georgia native and lives in Decatur. She loves spending time with her boys, being outdoors and rescuing dogs!
