She focuses on Flamenco as a means of communication, so that kids grow as leaders, followers, and communicators while studying the arts. Artists from Spain join Ms. Baggenstoss to teach the classes so that kids can use Spanish to communicate with native speakers, and the artists share some of the culture of the place where Flamenco began. The resulting lessons broaden perspectives and change lives on both sides of the cultural exchange.
