COVID-19 Hardship Tuition Assistance Fund (CHTAF)

There are many families in the community who have been or will greatly be impacted by the sudden economic impact of this pandemic including many small and large businesses. As such, the WSA Board of Trustees approved the creation of the COVID-19 Hardship Tuition Assistance Fund (CHTAF) as emergency tuition assistance that might be needed to keep families here at WSA throughout the next school year.

If your family’s finances have been significantly negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and you need financial assistance for the 2020-21 WSA tuition, you can apply to receive a CHTAF award. Please read through the following guidelines of this fund:

  • Any current WSA family may apply for these funds.
  • Eligibility for these funds is not affected by a family’s current financial assistance through WSA’s regular financial assistance.
  • All awards are separate from any financial assistance allocated from WSA’s regular financial assistance program.
  • There is no deadline to apply and awards will be allocated on a rolling basis until the fund is depleted.
  • Each award amount will be based upon the level of financial impact due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • All awards will be applied towards 2020-21 tuition.
  • All awards will be granted on a one-time, non-renewable basis.
