Our school has partnered with Ravenna in our application process. We invite you to begin exploring our school by completing a profile through Ravenna. Applications can also be completed in Ravenna.

Application notes for families applying for ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE GRADES (Grades 1 to 8):

Most students with varied learning styles are successful at The Waldorf School of Atlanta. While much of the teaching is auditory, we offer a hands-on, experiential curriculum that appeals to visual and kinesthetic learners as well. We expect students in grades four and older to be at or above grade level in academic subjects. While we can accept a few students with learning challenges, we have limited resources as this is not our primary focus. Our larger class sizes, while beneficial for social reasons, can be a detriment to students who need a significant amount of extra learning support.
  • Complete the application for WSA through Ravenna and submit the $75 application fee.
  • Request a Teacher Recommendation and School Records through the Ravenna platform.
  • After a review of the paperwork, your child will be scheduled for a two to three day visit so the teachers can work with him/her in a classroom setting. Older children may also be asked to meet with the class teacher prior to the visit or to come in for a learning assessment.
  • After your child has completed a successful classroom visit, you will be contacted for an interview with the class teacher.
  • To apply for financial aid, please consult Tuition Assistance tab for more information. The deadline is February 14, 2021.
