WSA is offering limited summer camps for young children (ages 2-4), Pre-K & Kindergarten children (ages 5-7), & Grades students (Grades 1-8) at the Decatur campus. Covid-19 Best Practices are in place to ensure the safety of all WSA campers and staff (see below).

Pre-Kindergarten Camp: Summer Garden-Sprouts (Ages 2 – 4)
$215 per week
Geared toward our youngest campers, this program emulates the daily rhythm of our wonderful Waldorf Kindergarten. During this season of plentiful light, warmth, and harvest, the children are immersed in the festive atmosphere of summer, making many new and exciting discoveries in nature.
Kindergarten Camp: Summer Garden (Ages 5 - 7)
$275 per week
Summer Garden continues the rhythm of our wonderful Waldorf Kindergarten on the Decatur Campus. During this season of plentiful light, warmth and harvest, the children are immersed in the festive atmosphere of summer, making many new and exciting discoveries in nature. Our days are filled with arts and crafts, storytelling, water play, nature walks, and lots of outdoor play!
Crochet Fun (All Levels) – Rising Grades 3-8
July 13 – 17
This camp is for campers who would like to learn to crochet or have crocheted before and would like to try some more advanced crochet projects such as animals, shawls, mittens, scarves, small baskets and more...you will enjoy this camp! Children may learn a variety of stitches to make one big project for the week or a combination of several smaller projects. A selection of yarns made from natural fibers in an array of beautiful colors will be available for creating these crocheted treasures. This camp will welcome students from rising third grade to grade eight.
Summer Knitting Fun! - Rising Grades 1-8
Knitting camp will offer a variety of projects fitting the needs of varied skill levels. There will be projects offered for beginning knitters and more advanced/experienced knitters as well. If you have not knitted before, you can learn with us! If you have knitted before, you can add to your skill set by making projects requiring more advanced techniques. Beginning knitter projects include: kittens, gnomes, chicks, and bunnies. Intermediate projects include the chance to make a lamb, dog, horse, fox, bear or gnome (more advanced pattern). This camp will welcome students from rising first grade through eighth grade.
Yoga – Rising Grades 1-6
Help enrich students' mind, body, and spirit with lessons about meditation and energy. Fun activities, crafts, songs, stories, and outdoor play time are included. Meditation helps improve brain function and memory, increase compassion, and leaves one with a general feeling of joy and peace. This camp will welcome students from rising first grade through sixth grade.
