Community Biography Workshop - Mar 3

In this theme year of “Building Community”, WSA is excited to host Patti Smith, of the Center for Biography and Social Art, to facilitate a morning biography workshop geared towards self-enrichment and growth, with the benefits of strengthening our relationships together as a school community. We look forward to having participants from our BOT, Faculty/Staff and our parent community, join together Saturday, March 3rd from 9am-12:00pm in Hazelwood Hall.

Intro to Biodynamics - March 11

Join Darby Weaver, head farmer at Timpson Creek Farm, for an afternoon of Biodynamic growing instruction. During this workshop, the guiding principles of Biodynamic Agriculture will be highlighted and practical approaches to utilizing them on your own farm or garden will be detailed.
COST: $40; $30 for Homestead Atlanta Members.

There is no better way to experience the Waldorf School of Atlanta than through a group or personal tour. We enjoy introducing our school to prospective families and warmly welcome all visitors. We're easily found south of downtown Decatur at the intersection of Columbia Drive and Kirk Road.

Family Dinner and All-School Meeting February 9th, 5:45-7:45pm

Come as a family for a pizza dinner (provided by school) followed by a fun night of entertainment for the children while the adults go to the Sanctuary for the annual All-School Meeting. The Board of Trustees of any not-for-profit organization is charged with maintaining good governance practices. Those practices, expressed as attributes of conduct include: Accountability, Efficiency, Transparency, and Approachability.
