Program Overview

Morning Garden— our parent/child program
Parents and their young children meet one morning a week to enjoy songs, movement, snack, conversation, handwork, and outdoor playtime. Each program generally serves a maximum of eight families guided by a trained Waldorf teacher. The Morning Garden program is offered Mondays through Fridays from 9:15 - 11:45am.

Preschool and Kindergarten
Each teacher and an assistant have a class of 15 to 18 children of mixed ages, including preschool and kindergarten aged children.
5-day classes: children are 3 to 6 years of age. A child must have turned 3 by February 1 to join the program in the fall of that same year.
3-day class (Monday–Wednesday): children are 3 to 5 years of age. A child must have turned 3 by June 1 to join the program in the fall of that same year.
Hours: 8:30am - 1pm or full day option from 8:30am - 3:10pm. The full day option includes an afternoon rest time. Extended care is available from 3:10 - 6pm each day.
Elementary School
Grades one (age six by June 1) through five
Hours: 8:10am - 3:10pm, except for Thursdays, when dismissal is at 1pm
Middle School
Grades six through eight
Hours: 8:10am - 3:10pm.
Extended Day programs for elementary and middle school students
After dismissal from school, students gather for games, outdoor play, enrichment activities, and study time in our Extended Day program, which is available until 6pm each school day. Enrichment activities may include chess, first aid/CPR, basketball, tennis, and other sports, drama, arts and crafts, yoga, and circus arts.
