Every few years, we conduct a major fundraising campaign to serve the needs of the future – for buildings, campus improvements, or other capital needs. The school’s last capital campaign raised the funds required to purchase the buildings and land that the school has today. Our community will be informed of capital campaign planning at meetings (e.g. all school meetings) and through written communications.
Our New Campus

The Waldorf School of Atlanta has begun a three-phase effort to build a permanent campus. The first phase was completed in 2002, with the purchase a five-acre tract of land in Decatur adjacent to our present grades classroom facility, and renovation of the existing house on that property. The school's property currently houses the school administrative offices on the upper level, and one of the school's four kindergarten classrooms on the lower level. It also includes a music rehearsal room, faculty lounge, and meeting areas.
This first phase represented a major milestone for the school and put it in position for the next two phases of the school's development. With the exception of the renovated house, the five acres of land that the school purchased is undeveloped and heavily wooded. That land is slated for development into the permanent school campus. Once completely developed, the new campus will house Pre-K through Grade Eight.
A capital campaign is being planned to raise the funds necessary for the remaining phases of this campus development.
